COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

For the safety of our campers, staff, and volunteers, the following precautions will be administered:

​

  • Federal, state, and local guidelines pertaining to COVID-19 will be strictly followed and adhered to.

  • Temperatures will be checked during camp sign-in and each morning thereafter for multi-day camps. 

  • Campers, staff, and volunteers will not be allowed to participate in camp if temperatures are above recommended federal, state and/or local levels. If temperatures over recommended level, the camp participant will be separated from other camp participants and not allowed to participate in camp events.  Parents/Guardians will be contacted immediately if a camper's temperature is over the recommended level.

  • Only 1 camper allowed per tent, unless campers are siblings of the same gender.

  • For family camps, up to 4 campers per tent per family unit (i.e., mother, father, children, etc.). 

  • Tents, camping equipment (including outdoor cooking equipment) will be cleaned/sanitized by B2BC staff prior to use by campers, staff, and volunteers.

  • Face masks and sanitizer will be available for campers, staff, and volunteers for the duration of camp.

 

GROUND RULES ARE MEANT TO PROTECT AND TEACH...

  • No fighting, hitting, or bullying

  • No cursing or inappropriate language

  • No hugging or kissing

  • No cell phone use during camp activities (recommend leaving cell phones at home)

  • No drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes

  • No use of medication without Medical Staff or Camp Leader oversight

  • No leaving the camp grounds

  • No leaving tents after Lights Out (bed time)

  • No roaming on camp grounds without assigned Camp Leader and/or Adult Volunteer

  • No skipping camp sessions without permission of Camp Leader

  • No throwing trash on grounds

  • No disrespecting Camp Leaders and Counselors, other campers, or camp volunteers

  • Camp ID must be worn at all times

 

Campers will be sent home for disobeying ground rules.  Parents/Guardians will be contacted to pick up camper from camp grounds.

 

We recommend that campers leave cell phones at home as they will be collected and stored until camp is over.  We will provide parents with an emergency telephone number that can be used to access children during camp.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR CAMP?

​

One Camp Shirt will be provided to campers free of charge.  Additional camp shirts must be purchased.

 

  • Dress comfortably for weather conditions

  • Camp shirts required to be worn for all camps

  • Tops and bottoms must be worn at all times.  No midriff showing between tops and bottoms

  • No halter tops, strapless tops, or bare-back tops

  • Bottoms (i.e., shorts, pants, skirts, etc.) must cover underwear at all times

  • Shorts and/or skirts should be mid-thigh length or lower

  • Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times

 

Campers will be sent home for disobeying dress code.

​

WHAT TO PACK... Remember, this is outdoor camping, so don't over pack!

 

For day camps:

​

  • Required Medication.  Must be in original container with original label.

 

For overnight camps:

​

  • Required Medication.  Must be in original container with original label.

  • Clothes for two days and one night, including closed toe shoes (i.e., sneakers, etc.)

  • Toiletries (face towel, toothpaste, tooth brush, soap, deodorant, lotion, etc.)

  • Sleeping Bag

  • All items must be placed in a Backpack labeled with the camper's name.  No suitcases or other types of luggage.

 

Parents will be notified in advance of special items needed for specific camps.

TRANSPORTATION...

​

Transportation will be provided free of charge for all camps (except for family camps).  Drop-off and pick-up will be at our base camp location:

In order to enter transportation vehicles, campers must be properly registered. 

 

Campers must be at the transportation site 30 minutes early to ensure they are properly registered.

MEALS...

​

  • All meals and snacks will be provided.

  • Vegetarian meals will be provided if noted on camp registration form.

  • Please do not bring personal food and/or snacks.

​
